"Selene was introduced to me one year ago when I needed a friendly "horsey" person to travel a new horse home. Since that day, Selene has taken all my stress out of owning horses. I am a mother that didnt know the back from the front of a horse until my two daughters decided to take riding a little more seriously. Selene's knowledge and wonderful ability to train and build a horse's confidence has been proved to me so many times in the last year that I have leant on her for all our horsey needs. "My daughter's pony came to us with an under developed back and neck/topline muscles and her back leg movement was rather stiff. She also had a tendency to hollow and charge around with her nose in the air, which made her difficult to control. At the same time her nipping was getting worse. We were sure there was a lovely pony in there- we just needed help in finding her! Selene quickly appraised the situation and came back with concrete advice. After her first session the pony was working in a much more relaxed outline and was obviously far happier. After each session with Selene she has improved enormously. We had been thinking of selling her as my daughter was losing confidence but she is now a much more relaxed pony, who tries hard and my daughter has started to take her to pony club rallies and enjoy riding her. At the last rally she got 66% in the dressage test and the instructor commented on her lovely paces! We're looking forward to working with Selene over the next few months to bring out her potential and end up with a pony my daughter can have fun on. It's also comforting to know we have someone we can turn to for expert advice as and when we need it."
